Beginner workflow
Customize a LaunchVault demo in seven steps.
1. Duplicate the package
Keep an untouched copy of the original download before editing.
2. Choose one demo
Open the root preview and select the closest visual direction. Work inside that demo folder.
3. Edit the configuration file
Open assets/js/demos/[demo-name]-config.js. Change brand, date, email, location, colors and feature switches near the top.
4. Replace visible copy
Open the demo's index.html and replace fictional headings, descriptions, legal text and placeholder links.
5. Replace artwork
Replace the matching file in assets/svg, or edit the HTML/CSS path. Use only assets you are licensed to publish.
6. Connect the form
Choose Netlify Forms, Formspree, Mailchimp or a backend. The default form does not deliver data.
7. Test and publish
Test at 320, 375, 430, 768, 1024, 1440 and 1920 pixels. Test keyboard navigation, reduced motion, validation, links and your public hosting URL.
